Evangelist
Brackman preaching at an outdoor crusade in Kenya through a
translator
|
After leaving Johannesburg, South Africa on our tour of Africa we
landed in Nairobi, Kenya where we spent the night before departing
for the city of Nyahururu for an outdoor evangelistic crusade.
The next day when we arrived in Nyahururu we went straight to the
city park where the crusade was being held. |
People
had arrived early and had been waiting several hours for the service
to begin. Dwight sang and then preached a message through a translator.
Several responded to the message through an altar
call. Some also needed healing and came forward for prayer.
The following day we held two services at a full gospel church in
Nyahururu. A few weeks prior to our arrival flyers had been distributed
and word of the meetings had spread to surrounding villages. When
we heard that some were walking from a village nearly 30 miles away
to attend the services, a truck was sent to provide transportation.
|
The truck was adequate to transport approximately 100 people, but
when the truck arrived there were 350 people waiting. The truck
brought as many as it could, but sadly the rest had to be left behind.
We were witnesses to such an incredible hunger for God and His Word
in the hearts and lives of these people. |

Many
respond to Evangelist Brackmans altar call for
salvation and healing
|
The presence of the Lord was present in both services to save, deliver,
heal, and set captives free. One woman was healed of tuberculosis
and others accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior.
The day after these wonderful services we visited a childrens home |
operated
by World Hope Ministries. These children were all smiles as we got
to know them.
We then traveled on to Nakuru, El Doret, and a small village within
2 miles of the Ugandan Border where the Holy Spirit touched many
lives through worship and the preaching of God's Word. |
