Partners
and friends pledged enough money to buy this truck
|
It
was a beautiful autumn day when several partners and friends joined
us to dedicate our first truck.
After returning from a short-term missions trip to Guatemala, God
laid it upon the heart of a couple who had traveled with us to make
others aware of a very important need. |
Food,
grain, rice, and other supplies were available to feed hungry children
in Guatemala, but there was no way to transport them from the location
where they were being made available.
When we returned to the U.S. the search for a suitable truck began.
Word spread quickly when a large truck the right size and with all
the right equipment was found and was available for purchase.
Within 40 days our partners and friends responded to the need and
gave the $17,000.00 necessary to purchase the
truck. All for the glory of God!! |

Loading

Custom
lettering was placed on the truck to add the final touch to a project
motivated by love for the children of Central America.
The truck was then loaded with
supplies and driven to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. From there it
will be used to transport supplies that will bring hope and save
lives in poverty stricken areas in Guatemala, El Salvador, and
Nicaragua.
