Taking a break from loading the truck for a picture
Several partners of Joy of a Child came together to help load a 24 ft. Ryder transport truck with supplies for orphaned children in Romania.

A couple donated the cost of the Ryder truck after seeing pictures of the children and hearing about the efforts that Joy of a Child was making to help them.

Individuals and churches also got involved and donated the entire cost of gas, food and lodging for the trip to Charleston, South Carolina. The truck stopped at six locations picking up supplies of food, over 70 boxes of clothing, two examination tables from a doctors office in Litchfield, Illinois, book bags, toys, medical supplies, and many more items to benefit the children.
Dwight Brackman, President of Joy of a Child, said, "It really showed us how much can be accomplished when people come together to make a difference in the lives of children.
