Joy of a Child - A Missions Outreach of River of Joy Ministries

God is faithful! My husband and I desperately needed to hear from the Lord on two issues in our life. We had been waiting for over 2 years for God to act on these issues and we felt we heard "nothing". God was silent.

Immediately, the Holy Spirit spoke to me that Joy of a Child was "Fertile Ground". In other words, a ministry that God was working through. He then said, "Is this your best gift?"

We then realized this was an opportunity for us to sow a "Faith Seed" offering into God's Kingdom. We were to give our very best offering. By faith, we began expecting incredible favor from God to move in the areas we had been praying for over the past two years.

Well, within a month God moved! We wanted a God given ministry, one that we could pour out hearts into. One week later we were given an idea from the Lord on starting a business that specializes in soil care. This new business covered not just one issue but several issues in our life we were not even expecting.

The business name we have chosen is "Fertile Ground". We can say without a shadow of a doubt, when you give to Joy of a Child you are planting a seed into "Fertile Ground!" Brett and Marilyn - Godfrey, Illinois
