Chennai, India formerly known as Madras is a city with an estimated population of 12 million people.

It was a priviledge to meet so many wonderful people during our stay and we are looking forward to returning someday soon.

Our visit took us through many parts of this intriguing city where our hearts were saddened by the widespread poverty and the overwhelming need for many to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hindu shrines and temples were common where the worship of some 33 million gods occur daily.

Visiting Chennai was a very enjoyable experience and many wonderful people extended every courtesy to us as we traveled throughout the city and surrounding areas.

In several places we visited, our hearts were deeply touched by the children. Watching them worship the Lord through dance and skits has become a cherished memory.

We have received invitations to return to India and are looking forward to preaching the gospel and leading worship seminars in several locations in cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Dehli, and in areas near the Himilayan mountains.
