Town square in the city of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala
The Lord has been very gracious and allowed us to travel to the nation of Guatemala six times in the last few years.

The people of Guatemala stole our hearts and it is one of the most beautiful nations for scenery that we have ever visited. We see God's hand on this nation and we have been blessed by the opportunity to minister in this Central American country.
On the very first visit to Guatemala, compassion welled up in Dwight's heart for the orphaned children.

God challenged him not to forget them, but return to America, bring awareness of their situation to
the attention of others, and
provide leadership to respond
with help.

First mission team that was
sent from our ministry.
Through newsletters, speaking events, newspapers, and word of mouth, we were able to communicate the goals of our ministry. Support began to come in and within a matter of time we were ready to return to Guatemala.

During this time the Lord blessed us with the use of a motor home and a 30 foot box trailer to pull behind it to carry all the equipment and supplies that had been donated. The entire trip amounted to driving 5,300 miles roundtrip through the U.S., Mexico, and Guatemala. Before leaving several friends and partners gathered for a prayer service.

Other trips would follow and each time we
would pack our suitcases with everything from clothes to baby bottles. What we couldn't bring, we bought for the children when we got there.

Pray for Guatemala, although witchcraft and idol worship is practiced openly in certain areas, we praise God that the nation is seeing spiritual renewal.

This page is dedicated to the memory of
Lisa Gribble who was an inspiration to all of
us. Her passion to share Christ with others and the love she had for the orphaned children of Guatemala will always be remembered. She went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2003.
