From
an encounter he experienced with God in 1995, Dwight has walked
in the miraculous as God continues to confirm His spoken word by
signs and wonders over his life and ministry.
His calling is being fulfilled as an Author, Teacher, International
Evangelist, Conference Speaker, and Executive Producer/Host of an
international weekly television program. |
Ministering
under a powerful anointing, God has brought great blessing to the
body of Christ through his life, his music, and his teachings.
After being raised in the Assemblies of God denomination under sound
biblical teaching for over thirty eight years, the Lord opened up
new ministry opportunities within a non-denominational fellowship
where God fashioned the beginnings of River of Joy Ministries and
Joy of a Child, the ministry's international missions outreach to
orphaned children.
Nearly all of his life he has played a very influential role for
Christ in the lives of people, teaching the Word of God to all ages,
leading worship, and serving in leadership roles within the local
church.
Dwight expresses his love for God in his daily walk and is also
an avid worshipper. The worship music he sings during his concerts
and meetings creates an atmosphere where God's presence comes and
begins to work in every heart.
The fruit of the ministry is evident as many in the U.S. and in
other nations have received salvation, deliverance, healing, and
greater joy through the power of the Holy Spirit. God is using Dwight
as a catalyst to light revival fires and bring about changed lives
as he ministers through his television broadcast, in churches, crusades,
orphanages, prisons, and schools. The Lord has touched many lives
in several countries through the ministry including Guatemala, El
Salvador, Honduras, Romania, South Africa, Kenya, Muldova, and India.
Dwight currently serves as the Host and Executive Producer of the
ministry's television program "There is Joy!". The broadcast
features interviews with special guests and messages that discover
the joy that God brings to life. It's available every Wednesday
at 12 noon CT in over 11 million homes throughout the United States
and Canada over the Sky Angel Satellite System and worldwide through
the Internet.
At the age of 46, he has been married for over 25 years to his wife
Kathy, has three children,
Carrie, Bethany, and Aaron,
and is a lifelong resident of Staunton, Illinois. |
